Soul Station’s Bellingen treatments offer a space to support your hauora as a whole. My work considers the physical, emotional, spiritual and relational aspects of wellbeing, drawing on Rongoa Māori, intuitive bodywork and complementary healing practices.
Each treatment offers its own pathway — from kōrero and assessment through to mirimiri, romiromi, kōhatu and Abhyanga — with space to reconnect, restore and find greater balance.

My Bellingen practice brings together Rongoā, Abhyanga and Homoeopathics. Each offering holds its own way of supporting wellbeing, with care shaped around the individual.
Janie’s Rongoā practice is grounded in deep listening, kaitiakitanga and an ongoing relationship with the ngahere and mātauranga, supporting hauora through individualised care.

Janie’s Rongoā practice is shaped by deep listening, connection to the ngahere and respect for the mauri and mātauranga held within traditional healing knowledge. Kōhatu, Mirimiri and Romiromi each offer a distinct pathway into grounding, bodywork, release and reconnection.
Individual Rongoā treatment pages will appear here as they are published. Current appointment availability can still be viewed through the Bellingen booking calendar.
A thoughtful, individual approach — beginning with kōrero and guided by what you need on the day.
We begin with conversation and assessment, creating space to understand what is happening for you and what you would like support with.
Your session is individually guided, drawing from the therapies and bodywork most appropriate to your needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all treatment.
The focus turns to grounding, restoration and supporting your body and hauora as the treatment settles and integrates.
This booking calendar is connected directly to Janie’s Bellingen Acuity calendar, so the times shown here reflect the appointments currently available for this location.

Kind words from people who have experienced Janie’s care.
Janie has been my go-to person for years. She does the best bodywork — intuitive, deeply knowledgeable and I always leave feeling deeply replenished. I was devastated when she left my area, and I jump at the chance to book an appointment whenever she comes back for visits. I have never been able to find anyone as good and as warm as Janie.
Janie is a truly gifted healer whose presence alone brings a sense of calm and comfort. She beautifully weaves together ancient Māori healing wisdom, Ayurveda, massage, homoeopathy and other holistic practices with deep intuition, compassion and care. Her healing hands, generous heart and genuine kindness make every experience deeply nurturing.
I have known Janie for decades and have received many amazing massages, Ayurvedic treatments, hot rock therapy, remedial massage and homoeopathy. I highly recommend Janie and her healing hands. She is very intuitive and has extensive experience across many modalities.
Janie is a true medicine woman. She holds grief and gratitude with grace. Her love, acceptance, healing touch and intuitive guidance helped me through incredibly challenging times. Janie, spirit woman, grandmother and healer — your kindness and humility are a blessing in this world.

In my own hauora (health) journey, I have trained in different forms of massage and mirimiri, and have developed my skills over 30 years.
The style of treatment is intuitive. Through assessment, I can guide you towards the type of work you may require — from deep-tissue remedial bodywork to working on a more energetic level through touch, intuition and learned knowledge of the body systems, encompassing Tinana, Hinengaro and Wairua together.

I am a Homoeopath, and with the use of vibrational essences they can support many ailments and work at a constitutional level of healing.
It was through this love that I journeyed through India and found another world of exciting medicine in Ayurveda. After experiencing treatments in India, I had to follow this path, which led me to study with Dr Arjit in New Zealand, a renowned Ayurvedic doctor. I loved his teachings, and they called me on a soul level.
I then started to bring the treatments into my practice and found profound value in Kati Basti and Shirodhara, and in the foods of nature, which are the basis of Ayurvedic medicine. Food is medicine.
My other great love is Rongoā, and my Kaiako, Pa Ropata, is a profound teacher of Rongoā.
I have recently supported the Taumata Rongoā as a kai mirimiri at Maungamuka Clinic, and have supported our whānau with Rongoā.

I am a grandmother of six beautiful mokopuna, who have hope and light.
I feel excited to engage in future projects and to be part of a collective that cares for the ngahere. I wish to be able to say one day in the future that we tried to leave something intact for our tamariki.
To leave something intact for our tamariki.
My aim is to work towards a conscious collective, and to connect you with your body, your heart and your soul through deep energetic work, plus individualised therapy to lift your Ahua.
With aroha,
Nau mai, haere mai.
